Ceci n'est pas une sortie officielle de la musique de Star Trek.

Cette musique que nous connaissons si bien est ici jouée par ce brillant orchestre, qui réussi à nous absorber entièrement l'esprit par leur justesse. Preuve de la qualité de cette magnifique musique, Leonard Nimoy a lui même participer au projet. Ici, on retrouve tout les films et le thème de toutes les séries (sauf TAS) et ce dans leurs version entières. En effet, nous pouvons entendre la totalité de la musique composée pour les séries, ce qui est n'est pas présent sur les Cd des versions officielles.

Ce Cd donne une deuxième version qui peut, parfois sembler meilleure que l'originale. Le son est notamment plus riche en général que ce à quoi nous sommes habitués à entendre, à la télévision. Bref, encore un magnifique voyage pour revisiter la musique que nous aimons tous.
